We don’t know what the future holds. We can only focus on the present. We can work towards our goals and try and try and try. All we need to realize is that things are going exactly as they should be. It doesn’t always make sense. It doesn’t always seem like it. But life is preparing us for the next step of our journey.
I know what I want my journey to be. I know what I picture for my future. And so I will work towards it. I won’t give up. My path may change. I may hit road blocks. But I will grow and mature from each one. I will learn about myself and my place in this world. It’s time for me to discover my purpose and live it. It’s time for me to finally take life by the reigns instead of sitting in the passengers seat of my own life. That was my mistake. That was my problem. I know what I have to do.
Everything happens for a reason.
Right now, I have a feeling that this was the reason. I needed to stop being passive in my own life. I needed to step up and take control. I needed to discover me.
I have my objective. My eye is on the goal. I have the patience I need and the strength of will that will rival anyone’s.
And my first objective is… finish this homework so I can try to make it to Mikael’s tonight.
As for the rest of my objectives… well, you never want to show your hand before the time is right. Just as a magician never reveals their secrets, I’m going to keep the world guessing.
